At Brandfluence, every project we take on tells a story – about people, purpose, and the power of collaboration. Some stories, however, go beyond design and communication; they represent a bridge between science and society. Our recent partnership with the Northwest Quantum Nexus (NQN) is exactly that.
From Vision to Impact
When our CEO, Bardha Ajvazi, met with Washington Technology Industry Association (WTIA) during her visit to Seattle earlier this year, what started as a conversation about innovation soon evolved into something bigger – a creative partnership at the intersection of technology, science, and storytelling.
A few months later, Brandfluence was entrusted with the opportunity to design and develop the new official website for the Northwest Quantum Nexus, a coalition of world-class universities, national laboratories, and industry leaders committed to advancing Quantum Information Science (QIS) in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
About the Northwest Quantum Nexus
The Northwest Quantum Nexus (NQN) is more than a research initiative – it’s a movement driving the future of quantum technologies.
Bringing together partners such as the University of Washington, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), Microsoft, IonQ, Amazon, WTIA, and others, NQN’s mission is to accelerate discovery, build a quantum-ready workforce, and strengthen collaboration between academia, industry, and government.
Through this digital platform, we wanted to reflect that mission – creating a hub that feels scientifically credible, visually engaging, and strategically connected.
The Design Approach
Our design philosophy for NQN centered on three principles:
- Clarity in Complexity – Quantum science is intricate. Our role was to translate it into an interface that invites understanding and curiosity.
- Collaboration at the Core – The website highlights NQN’s partners, events, and shared research – a visual reflection of their ecosystem.
- Scalability for Growth – Built on a robust, user-friendly backend, the site supports dynamic content management, partner submissions, and continuous updates as the network evolves.
The result is more than a website; it’s a digital foundation for a fast-growing field that’s shaping the next era of technology.
A Partnership Built on Trust
We’re deeply grateful to the entire NQN team for their trust, collaboration, and openness throughout this process. Working alongside scientists, researchers, and communication experts reminded us how essential clear storytelling is in complex fields like quantum computing.
And today, we’re proud to share that Brandfluence has officially joined the NQN Communications Team, listed among distinguished partners who are driving innovation and shaping the narrative of quantum research in the Pacific Northwest.
Looking Ahead
As we mark the completion of this project, we’re already looking toward the next chapter – continuing to support NQN through strategic communications, digital maintenance, and outreach initiatives that amplify their impact.
This milestone also marks another step in our growing presence in the United States, as we continue to build new partnerships with organizations, universities, and innovation networks focused on science, technology, and sustainability. Innovation is never static, and neither are we.
